Gaboule is currently operating at limited capacity due to issues outside of our control. We are working on improving our infrastructure and will be back online soon. Content on this page may not be up-to-date or accurate.
Gaboule accounts aim to respect your privacy as much as possible. You can share your thoughts and ideas without sacrificing your online anonymity. The use of Tor is heavily recommended.
Joining Gaboule is very simple and only requires a few steps. Here's how to create your account:
Step 1: Register
Go to the registration page.
We don't need your email because it is unnecessary personal data and compromises your anonymity.
Step 2: Write down your account credentials
You will be prompted to input a username and a password. Please securely store these credentials in a safe place, such as writing them down on paper or storing them in an end-to-end encrypted password manager like Bitwarden.
If you lose your credentials, your account will be lost forever and cannot be recovered.
Gaboule's moderators and admins will never ask for your credentials. Only use them to login on auth.gaboule.com and nowhere else!
Step 3: Finalize registration
After registering, you will get a special email address for use within Gaboule. Learn more about it.
Send an email to apply@gaboule.com (with your new member email) with subject "New member" and share with us how you discovered our community and why you are interested in joining us. Also mention if you need a Matrix account.
Be careful not to skip this step, as it helps us determine whether your account was created by a bot or a genuine user. Your account will be automatically deleted if you don't send us an email.
To help us quickly and accurately review new account registrations, please write all content yourself and avoid using any AI-generated text. This makes the review process easier for us.
Step 4: Account Verification
We will review and verify your account within 3 days and will notify you when it's complete.
Don't worry, the process usually doesn't take that long. In fact, most accounts are verified within a few hours.
Step 5: You're good to go!
Once your account's verified, you'll be free to explore and enjoy all the services we have!
